Blurred image is one of the common problems, manifested in the pattern of the edge of the virtual, unclear details. This is mostly caused by the nozzle and fabric distance is not appropriate, the distance is too close to easily rubbed dirty pattern, too far away from the ink atomization diffusion. Can adjust the height of the nozzle to the equipment selected range, generally in 3-5 mm, while ensuring that the fabric is flat and fixed, to avoid wrinkles when printing. If the blur is concentrated in the local, may be the nozzle clogging, need to use special cleaning fluid flushing, or start the automatic cleaning function of the equipment, remove the nozzle dry knot ink.

Chromatic aberration is also more common, that is, the print pattern and design color deviation. First of all, check whether the ink is matched, different brands of ink color gamut is different, easy to mix the color difference, it is recommended to use the equipment matching ink. Secondly, calibrate the color management system, through professional software to match the color parameters of the design with the printer’s output parameters, and regularly test with a calibration card to ensure stable color reproduction. In addition, the fabric itself will affect the color development, cotton and chemical fiber ink absorption capacity is different, can be first in the same batch of fabrics on the test print, adjust the color parameters before mass production.

The image appears broken line or leakage, mostly due to printhead failure or poor ink supply. First check whether the printhead is clogged with foreign objects, using a magnifying glass to observe the spray hole, if there are fibers or impurities, use a soft brush dipped in cleaning fluid to gently wipe. If the location of the broken line is fixed, it may be the printhead wear, need to replace the new printhead. Ink supply, if there is insufficient ink in the cartridge, or the ink supply tube has air bubbles, which will lead to the interruption of the ink supply, you need to replenish the ink in a timely manner, and through the equipment bubble removal function to expel air bubbles in the tube, to ensure the smooth flow of ink.

Patterns with stripes or uneven color blocks, may be the printing speed and fabric delivery speed mismatch. When the speed is too fast, the ink is not dry on the superposition of the print, easy to appear halo stripes; speed is too slow may repeat the print. According to the fabric material to adjust the speed, thin and light fabrics to reduce the appropriate speed, heavy fabrics can increase the speed. At the same time, check whether the fabric conveying shaft is flat, if the shaft body is worn with depression, it will lead to fabric conveying jitter, uneven pattern, need to repair or replace the conveying shaft.

Finished image scuffed and dirty, color loss, mainly because the ink is not fully solid color. After printing to ensure complete drying, according to the characteristics of the fabric and ink to adjust the drying temperature and time, cotton fabrics can be appropriate to increase the temperature, chemical fiber fabrics need to control the temperature to avoid damage. If the color is still off, it may be the ink quality problems, it is recommended to replace the special ink with strong adhesion, or pre-treatment of fabrics before printing, spraying color-fixing agent to enhance the ink adsorption.
