How to use a digital printing machine?
Digital printing machines are high-tech printing devices capable of printing any pattern onto surfaces of both soft and hard materials. Utilizing non-contact printing technology, they can successfully print any multi-color pattern in a single pass without requiring plates. The process is simple, with instant drying upon spraying, offering fast, efficient, and flexible personalized output. It represents a technological innovation over hand painting, various transfer methods, and screen printing techniques.
How to use a digital printing machine?
- Pattern Input: Copy images captured with a digital camera to your computer and use Photoshop or CAD to adjust the image size.
- Material Coating: Apply a coating layer using a spray machine to ensure color retention, brightness, fade resistance, wear resistance, and waterproofing. Examples include metal coatings, ABS coatings, glass coatings, etc.
- Computer Positioning: Import your processed image into the system. The system displays a positioning frame. Align the image within this frame according to the frame’s boundaries, which corresponds to the placement of your printed object on the printer.
- Material Placement: Position the material.
Important Notes
Ensure the printer has a stable work surface. Do not place any objects on top of the digital printer.
Keep the front cover closed during printing to prevent dust or foreign objects from entering the machine and obstructing the print carriage movement.
Never plug or unplug cables while the printer is powered on. This may damage the printer port and PC parallel port, potentially causing severe damage to the PC motherboard.
If print output appears unclear, use the printer’s automatic cleaning function to clean the nozzles.
When restarting without the print head returning to its home position, the printer will first reposition the print head before cleaning the nozzles, causing unnecessary ink waste. To resolve this, regularly wipe dust from the guide shafts, lubricate them with a low-viscosity oil (such as sewing machine oil), and maintain a clean surrounding environment.
