Use special cleaning fluid to clean the printheads before powering on the machine every day, and carry out in-depth maintenance once a week (e.g., soaking the printheads to unclog the microporous holes) to ensure smooth ink jetting and reduce the waste of repetitive prints caused by clogging.

Calibrate the printhead: Printhead misalignment will lead to color overlay deviation, need to increase the amount of ink to make up for the long term will increase ink consumption. Through the calibration function that comes with the device, the printhead position can be adjusted regularly to ensure accurate color overlay and avoid ineffective ink consumption.

Fourth, the selection of suitable consumables and recycling
Consumables selection and reasonable recycling is also an important part of saving ink.

The use of original or adapted ink: poor-quality ink may not be compatible with the printhead, resulting in clogging, ink leakage, not only affecting the printing results, but also increase ink consumption. Choose the original ink selected by the equipment manufacturer or verified adapted ink, although the unit price may be higher, but the overall loss is lower, more economical in the long term.

Recycling of misprints or waste ink: For T-shirts that fail to print, they can be cleaned by special solvents (to be selected according to the fabric and ink type), and the recycled ink can be used for trial printing or scenes with low color requirements after filtering treatment, reducing the waste caused by direct disposal.
